✅ Eligibility

All Minted Characters that have completed the “[Hyper Summer] An Invitation to VIP” quest.

👉 How to Participate

1. Accept the "[Hyper Summer] Raise the Golden Octopus" quest either through the Event Notifier on the left side of your screen or by speaking with NPC Ralphio on the Gold Richie Resort event map.
2. Once per day per account, you can select and obtain 1 of the 2 types of octopus eggs in the "Raise the Golden Octopus" event window.
   ※ If you currently have an octopus that was previously raised, you can end its growth, claim your rewards, and then receive a new octopus egg.
   ※ Octopus growth is shared per account. When logging in with a different character on the same account, you can continue raising your previously selected octopus.
3. After obtaining an octopus egg, defeating monsters near your level (20 levels below and 20 levels above) in your hunting field has a chance to drop ‘Gold Richie Coin’ , and a lower chance to drop ‘Lucky Pearl’ .
   ※ Lucky Pearls will no longer drop once you have obtained 120 per character daily.
4. Upon obtaining a Lucky Pearl, the item is automatically consumed and triggers the following two effects :
   • Summon the event monster, Lost Clam : A total of 100 Lost Clams will be summoned for 1 minute. Defeating them rewards additional Rotation NESO. However, they will not be distributed if there is no remaining Rotation NESO in the field.
   • Increase Golden Octopus ‘Feed’ attempts : Increases your feeding attempts by 1, accumulating up to a maximum of 9 times. While holding feeding attempts, the [Feed] button in the Raising Octopus event UI will be activated. Depending on the feed result, your octopus will either level up, stay unchanged or flee.
5. Your octopus can grow up to Level 9. If it flees, the growth of the octopus for that day ends, and you can only obtain 10% of the level-up reward for the current level.

🎁 Rewards 

[Gold Richie Coin]

• Defeating monsters near your level has a chance to drop Gold Richie Coins.
  ※ The drop rate for Gold Richie Coins increases based on your VIP Tier.
  ※ This reward shares a daily acquisition limit of up to 400 Gold Richie Coins with other events ("Bubble & Bubble", "Tropical Adventure"), which can increase up to 500 depending on your VIP Tier. The maximum daily amount of Gold Richie Coins obtainable through this event is 300.

[Blue Egg  Growth Rewards]

• Selecting the Blue Egg allows you to obtain a certain amount of Honor EXP depending on the growth level.

[Yellow Egg  Growth Rewards]

• Selecting the Blue Egg allows you to obtain a certain amount of Gold Richie Coins depending on the growth level.

• Any actions that violate the Operation Policy may result in restrictions. Accounts restricted from using services within the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, including MapleStory N, may also be excluded from receiving rewards.
• In case maintenance on MapleStory Universe services takes place on the day of the event conclusion, the event end time may be subject to change.
• Event schedule, rewards, and other details are subject to change without prior notice. In such cases, additional announcements will be provided separately.
• Reward items cannot be received after the event period ends.
• Reward items can be stored in in-game inventory until their expiration period. Items not used within the expiration period will be deleted.
• Rewards will be distributed only to the wallet used to participate in the event. Please note that the receiving wallet addresses cannot be changed.
• MapleStory Universe cannot address issues arising from incorrectly connected wallets.
• Account trading is prohibited under our operating policy. Violators may be restricted from MapleStory Universe service, and MapleStory Universe is not liable for any losses or damages incurred through trading attempts.
