[Hyper Summer] The Legends Return!

Who will be the legendary Mapler to crown the end of Hyper Summer?

✅ Eligibility

• All Minted Characters of level 65 or above, that have completed the “[Hyper Summer] An Invitation to VIP” quest.

👉 How to Participate

1. Talk to NPC Cynapse in Henesys to accept the quest "[Hyper Summer] The Legends Return! Season 2".
2. Once you complete the quest, talk to Cynapse again to enter the Battle Lobby.
3. Talk to Cynapse in the Battle Lobby to join the matchmaking queue.
   • Matches are 3v3 team battles (Red Team vs. Blue Team) that start once 6 players are matched.
   • Matchmaking prioritizes grouping players with similar rankings.
4. When a match is found, click Accept to join the game.
   • You will receive a matchmaking penalty if you decline the queue pop, go AFK during the battle, or leave the game before the match concludes.
5. Once inside, select your preferred Avatar. Each Avatar features a unique appearance and exclusive skills.
   • You have 30 seconds to choose. If you don't pick one in time, an unselected Avatar will be assigned to you automatically.
   • You cannot select the same Avatar as your teammates, but the opposing team can choose the same Avatars as your team.
6. When the battle begins, use the portal to enter the hunting ground. Defeat monsters and eliminate opponents to earn EXP and Gold. Use EXP to level up your Avatar, and spend Gold to upgrade your Avatar or Cores.
   • Blue Monsters: Belong to the Blue Team (Only the Red Team can attack them).
   • Red Monsters: Belong to the Red Team (Only the Blue Team can attack them).
   • Purple Monsters: Neutral monsters (Both teams can attack them).
7. When the main timer runs out, a frantic 1-minute Final Match begins. The first team to completely eliminate the opposing team claims victory!
   • If neither team is fully eliminated when the Final Match timer ends, the winner is decided based on the following criteria (in order):
     • ① Team with the most surviving players.
     • ② Team with the highest remaining HP percentage among survivors.
     • ③ Team with the highest total EXP earned among survivors.

   • The EXP reward is calculated based on the combined time spent in the “The Legends Return!”. No additional EXP will be rewarded if the total daily time exceeds 120 minutes.

   1. Talk to NPC Cynapse in Henesys and select "I’d like to receive the Accumulated Play Reward.”
   2. Receive “Gold Richie Coin x 1,000” and the “Coconut Pepe Chair Coupon”.
   3. Talk to NPC Cynapse again and exchange your “Coconut Pepe Chair Coupon” for the Coconut Pepe Chair (NFT).

⚠️ Event Notes

• Rankings are determined based on all worlds combined.
  • Ranking points are shared across all characters within the same account, and your rank will be registered under the name of the character you last played.
  • Rankings are registered based on the points earned by each character. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker criteria below will determine the final priority.
• Tiebreaker Criteria (for identical points):
  • ① Character with the most wins.
  • ② Character with the fewest losses.
  • ③ Character who reached the score first.
• You can check your rank on the Status Board after completing your first 5 plays.
  • During your first 5 plays, your ranking points will still fluctuate, but your character will not be registered on the Status Board.
• Players who participate in the event through unfair or abnormal methods may face game/content restrictions, and their ranking registration will be disqualified.
  • If your account is restricted for any other reason during the event period, your registered rank may also be disqualified.

📋 Important Notes

• Any actions that violate the Operation Policy may result in restrictions. Accounts restricted from using services within the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, including MapleStory N, may also be excluded from receiving rewards.
• In case maintenance on MapleStory Universe services takes place on the day of the event conclusion, the event end time may be subject to change.
• Event schedule, rewards, and other details are subject to change without prior notice. In such cases, additional announcements will be provided separately.
• Reward items cannot be received after the event period ends.
• Reward items can be stored in in-game inventory until their expiration period. Items not used within the expiration period will be deleted.
• Rewards will be distributed only to the wallet used to participate in the event. Please note that the receiving wallet addresses cannot be changed.
• MapleStory Universe cannot address issues arising from incorrectly connected wallets.
• Account trading is prohibited under our operating policy. Violators may be restricted from MapleStory Universe service, and MapleStory Universe is not liable for any losses or damages incurred through trading attempts.
• Please note that access may be restricted in certain regions. Depending on your location, you could encounter limitations when accessing the MapleStory Universe service. For a seamless experience with the MapleStory Universe, please consult the Terms of Service.
