Hunt monsters across the world to collect Halloween Candies, upgrade your magical "Cat-O-Lantern", and claim spooky, exclusive rewards prepared just for Hallowkitty's Candy Party!

📅 Event Period

• Halloween Candy Field Drop Period : October 15 (After Maintenance) – October 28, 23:59 (UTC)
• Cat-O-Lantern Buff Acquisition & Growth Period : October 15 (After Maintenance) – November 11, 23:59 (UTC)

※ Although the field drops and sharing missions will end on October 28 at 23:59 (UTC), the acquired Cat-O-Lantern Buff will remain active, and you can continue to upgrade the buff by purchasing Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies from the Halloween Coin Shop until November 11, 23:59 (UTC).

• All Minted Characters of level 65 or above

👉 How to Participate

1. Complete the quest "Hallowkitty's Candy Party" by speaking with NPC Hallowkitty in the event map, the Haunted House.
2. Upon quest completion, you will immediately receive the event items Cat-O-Lantern (Lv. 0) which signify buff activation, along with the Trick or Treat Chair, .
3. Afterward, each time you defeat 600 Monsters Near Your Level, up to 100 Trick-or-Treat Wraith event monsters will be summoned for 1 minute. (Maximum 120 summons per day per character)
4. Defeat the summoned event monsters for a chance to obtain 3 types of Halloween Candies and the Oversized Halloween Candy Chair Coupon.
5. Defeating Monsters Near Your Level also grants a chance to obtain Halloween Pumpkin Coins, the Halloween event currency.
6. Use your collected candies to upgrade your Cat-O-Lantern or share candies with other adventurers to complete Halloween Special missions and claim exclusive rewards!

[Halloween Candy Details]

• Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candy
  • “Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candy” can be acquired up to 50 candies per day.
  • Double-clicking to use the Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candy will allow you to upgrade your chosen stats.
  • After reaching Cat-O-Lantern Growth Level 50, any additional Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candy acquired can be exchanged for 1,000 Honor EXP per 10 candies.

    ※ Exchange is not possible if you possess less than 10 candies, and this feature is unavailable before reaching Growth Level 50.

    

• Trick or Treat Candy
  • “Sharable Trick or Treat Candies” can be acquired up to 50 candies per day.
  • Click on other players sitting in the Trick or Treat Chair to obtain a “Shared Trick or Treat Candy”.
  • Shared Trick or Treat Candy can be used up to 2 times per day, providing a 2x EXP buff for 15 minutes upon use.

    ※ This item cannot be used in conjunction with other EXP coupons.

    

• Crystal Candy
  • Acquiring Crystal Candy awards a set amount of Power Crystal Points based on your character's level range.
  • If you have reached the daily account limit of 150,000 Power Crystal Points (calculated at the time of candy acquisition), Crystal Candy will no longer drop.

    

[Halloween Special Missions & Rewards]

1. Cat-O-Lantern Growth Mission
   • Use Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies to upgrade your Cat-O-Lantern buff to level 10 or 50.

     ※ The Cat-O-Lantern growth level is calculated as the sum of all individual stat levels.

   • Upon reaching each growth level, speak with NPC Hallowkitty in the Haunted House to receive the Baby Cat-O-Lantern Coupon or King Cat-O-Lantern Coupon, and then speak with her again to exchange the coupon for the corresponding cape NFT item.

   

    

2. Trick or Treat Candy Sharing Mission
   • By sitting in the Trick or Treat Chair (obtained from the initial quest) while holding at least 20 Sharable Trick or Treat Candies, you can share candy with other players.
   • Share your Sharable Trick or Treat Candy with other players 3 times to complete the mission.
   • Upon completing the mission, speak with NPC Hallowkitty in the Haunted House to receive the Halloween Candy Hoard Chair Coupon, and then speak with her again to exchange it for the corresponding chair NFT item.

   

    

3. Henesys Pumpkin Hunt
   • The event boss monster Bully Jack will surprise-spawn on all channels of Henesys every hour on the hour.
   • Defeating Bully Jack will drop 5 Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies as a personal reward, provided you participated with at least 1 hit.

     ※ Summoned Bully Jack disappears after 3 minutes, so rewards will only drop if he is defeated within the time limit.

     ※ This event reward is character-specific and cannot be shared with other characters.

     ※ If you do not meet the event requirements, or if you have already reached the daily maximum acquisition limit of 50 Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies, rewards will not drop even if you defeated Bully Jack.

   

🎁 Rewards

[Halloween Pumpkin Coin]

• Halloween Pumpkin Coins obtained through this event can be acquired up to 300 coins per character, daily. No additional coins can be obtained after reaching this limit.
• Use your Halloween Pumpkin Coins to purchase various items in the Halloween Coin Shop.

[Cat-O-Lantern Buff]

• Consume 5 Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies to increase a single stat level by 1.
  • Double-clicking the Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candy in your possession allows you to select your desired stat to upgrade.
• The Cat-O-Lantern Buff effects upgraded during the event period can be used even after the event concludes, until November 11 23:59 (UTC).
• For characters who did not acquire this item during the event period, the Cat-O-Lantern Buff (Lv. 0) can still be obtained by speaking with NPC Hallowkitty in the Haunted House from October 29 00:00 to November 11 23:59 (UTC).
• From October 29, you can purchase additional Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies from the Halloween Coin Shop to upgrade your buff.

[Oversized Halloween Candy Chair]

• Defeating the Trick-or-Treat Wraith event monsters (summoned by defeating Monsters Near Your Level) grants a low chance to drop the Oversized Halloween Candy Chair Coupon.
• After obtaining the coupon, you can exchange it for the Oversized Halloween Candy Chair NFT item by speaking with NPC Hallowkitty in the Haunted House.

📋 Important Notes

• Any actions that violate the Operation Policy may result in restrictions. Accounts restricted from using services within the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, including MapleStory N, may also be excluded from receiving rewards.
• In case maintenance on MapleStory Universe services takes place on the day of the event conclusion, the event end time may be subject to change.
• Event schedule, rewards, and other details are subject to change without prior notice. In such cases, additional announcements will be provided separately.
• Reward items cannot be received after the event period ends.
• Reward items can be stored in in-game inventory until their expiration period. Items not used within the expiration period will be deleted.
• Rewards will be distributed only to the wallet used to participate in the event. Please note that the receiving wallet addresses cannot be changed.
