Hello, Maplers.
Recently, MetaMask's security detection policies have become significantly more aggressive than before.
Consequently, a scam warning banner may be displayed during the wallet signing step when using certain services, such as purchasing items from the Webshop.
Please rest assured that this is an issue where newly tightened security logic is misinterpreting our normal service actions—which involve transferring NESO from your wallet—as a potential risk.
The NESO asset access permission (Approve) within MapleStory Universe is strictly engineered so that approvals can only be granted to our specifically designated, highly secure official contracts. Because of this structural safeguard, hacking or unauthorized draining of your assets through these actions will not occur, so you can interact with our services with peace of mind.
We have identified 3 official, safe contracts that are currently triggering this false warning due to the tightened detection settings:
NextForwarder (0x08C2CB00d04B28348a62D83A764021975ea76659)
Usage: Revoking asset access permission, NESO ↔ NXPC Swap
L1Teller (0xEbdeB5BdeDd722DD663CD46b30A10361b8d0Aad3)
Usage: USDT Warp Out
NextMeso (0x07E49Ad54FcD23F6e7B911C2068F0148d1827c08)
Usage: Webshop Purchases
※ We are continuously monitoring to see if this scam warning banner appears in any other service areas. If additional addresses are identified, we will immediately update this notice to keep you informed.
If you encounter a MetaMask scam warning banner while interacting with any of the three specific addresses listed above, they are our official and completely safe contracts, so you may safely click "Confirm" to proceed with your transaction.
We are currently in close communication with the MetaMask team to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Thank you.
