Skill Balancing

Pure Boss Essence System

1. After the update, Maplers can obtain Pure Boss Essence by clearing bosses.

• Pure Boss Essence can be obtained if the Mapler deals at least 5% of total damage to the boss.

2. Using Pure Boss Essence registers the boss raffle and grants Nodestones according to predefined rules.

3. Pure Boss Essence usage limits:

• Account-wide: Max 90 per week
• Weekly bosses: Max 12 per character
• Example: If one character uses 12 weekly boss Pure Boss Essence, the remaining characters in the account may use up to 78 total.
• Daily boss and weekly boss Pure Boss Essence have separate expiration periods:
  • Daily Boss: Until the same day’s midnight
  • Weekly Boss: Until the upcoming Thursday at midnight

4. Party Raffle Registration Changes with Pure Boss Essence

• All participating party members can obtain boss crystals.
• When submitting a raffle, the drop chance is divided by the number of party members present at entry.
• Example (5-Mapler party):
  • If a 100,000 NESO reward has a boosted drop rate of 500%, each Mapler receives an individual roll with a 100% drop rate (1/5 probability).
  • If the 100,000 NESO reward has a base 100% drop rate, each Mapler receives an individual roll with a 20% drop rate (1/5 probability).
• If Pure Boss Essence is used beyond the allowed limit, Maplers will instead receive additional Honor EXP equivalent to the boss clear.

System Improvements & Changes

• EXP required for leveling up below level 200 has been reduced
• The allocation of Regular/Rotation NESO rewards per cycle in field layers below level 190 has been reduced.
• With the addition of Arcane River fields, the Regular/Rotation NESO rewards in fields above level 200 have been adjusted accordingly.
• The allocation of Regular/Rotation NESO rewards per cycle for daily bosses has been reduced.
• The allocation of Regular/Rotation NESO rewards per cycle for weekly bosses has been increased by 150%
• A lower price cap will be introduced for certain items that remained highly volatile despite the existing enhancement price cap.
• Language selection added on first client launch
• Tab key navigation added to Guide UI
• Luminous weapon equipment can now be registered in the NFT Collection
• Character unlinking is disabled while holding untradeable Nodestones

Events

1. MEGA Burning Event

Explosive growth like a storm! The MEGA Burning Project begins.

• Event Schedule
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – February 25, 2026 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • Characters newly created during the event period

• How to Participate
  • One MEGA Burning Character can be designated per account at character creation.
  • The new class Cygnus Knights and Mihile cannot be designated as a Burning character.

• Event Details
  • MEGA Burning characters gain +2 additional levels per level-up, up to Level 130.
  • MEGA Burning characters receive the following gift boxes:

  • Burning character changes are only possible by deleting the existing Burning character.
  • Burning characters cannot be changed after minting.
  • The first unlink of a Burning character requires:
    • Event period ended
    • Credit Level 2
    • Solo clear of Normal Von Leon

2. V Diary (V Tracker)

To support the journey of new Maplers during Vlessing Winter, the V Tracker event is available.

• Event Period

• Eligibility
  • Characters created after December 18, 2025
  • Level 10 or higher

• How to Participate
  • Start the event guide quest via the Event Notifier.
  • After completing the quest, click V Tracker Event Notifier to check missions and claim rewards.

• Event Details
  • 40 missions across 8 categories
  • Rewards are granted per completed mission.
  • Complete 38 or more missions to receive the final reward.
  • Mission rewards are character-bound.
  • Final reward can be claimed by any character on the account.

  • Enhancements via Smithy are not counted for Star Force missions.

  • By completing Daily Missions, Maplers can earn V Coins.
  • Daily Missions are tracked per character.
  • Up to 250 V Coins per day can be earned through Daily Missions.
  • Earned V Coins can be exchanged for various items in the Coin Shop.

• Weekly Missions
  • By completing Weekly Missions, Maplers can earn Grace Coins.
  • Weekly Missions are tracked per account and reset every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC+0).

• Daily Check-In
  • After reaching the daily cap of 250 V Coins, Maplers can check attendance once per account per day.
  • Rewards vary based on cumulative attendance days.
  • Vlessing Points can be used to enhance the Goddess Blessing Buff.
  • Missed attendance can be completed using Vlessing Pass (consumes NESO).

5. Temple of Time Training Chamber

To support Maplers seeking new power, the Temple of Time Training Chamber has been introduced.
Characters can gain EXP and NESO through simulated combat with monsters from the field layer at entry—even while idle.

• Event Period
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – February 25, 2026 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility 
  • Minted characters of level 100 or above

• How to Participate
  • You can start the event guide quest by clicking the Temple of Time Training Chamber notification in the Event Notifier.
  • The available training time in the Temple of Time Training Chamber is determined by the highest Mu Lung Dojo clear record within the account, allowing up to a maximum of 6 hours of training.
  • Check the minimum level requirement of the field layer where training will take place, position your character in one of the fields within that field layer, and then click the Temple of Time Training Chamber notification to begin training.
  • Daily entry time resets at 00:00 (UTC+0).

• Note
  • Records reset every Thursday 00:00 (UTC+0) for this event.
  • If training is in progress at 00:00 (UTC+0), it will automatically recharge based on that week’s Mu Lung Dojo record and continue training.
  • At 00:00 (UTC+0) on Thursday, when Mu Lung Dojo records are reset, characters in the Training Chamber will be automatically moved to Henesys.
  • Training time is shared across all characters in the account.

6. Vanishing Journey Exploration

Light up Vanishing Journey and earn rewards by honoring the will of the Goddess.

• Event Period
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – January 7, 2026 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • Minted characters that have completed [Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess

• How to Participate
  • By progressing through the quest [Vanishing Journey Exploration] Honor the Will of the Goddess via the Event Notifier, you can obtain the Fever Skill.
  • After using the Fever Skill 3 times, click the Vanishing Journey Exploration notification to begin exploration.
  • Once exploration is completed, you can check the results and claim rewards after 00:00 (UTC+0) on the following day.

• Event Details
  • You may select up to 3 locations per day to explore.
  • At each location, you can place either a Green Lantern or a Yellow Lantern:
    • Green Lantern: Guarantees a reward
    • Yellow Lantern: Grants rewards based on probability

• Note
  • The final exploration can be conducted until January 6, 2026, and rewards can be claimed until January 7, 2026.

7. Vlessing Double Up Millions

To celebrate Vlessing Winter, the special Vlessing Double Up Millions event will be held.

• Event Period
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – January 7, 2026 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • Minted characters (Participation is available on a per-character basis.)

• How to Participate
  • Weekly bosses are categorized into the following tiers based on difficulty
  • Clearing a weekly boss at least once grants eligibility to enter the Millions raffle for the corresponding tier.
  • Raffle entry can be completed via the Millions notification in the Event Notifier, and only one eligible tier may be selected per entry.
  • For parties of two or more players, the weekly mission is considered cleared only if the player deals at least 5% of the boss monster’s total damage.

• Notes
  • Only one tier among Tiny / Mini / Standard / Prime / Power / Super Power may be selected per entry, and the selection cannot be changed after entry.  Please check the competition rate on the Reward Dashboard to choose a more favorable tier.
  • Eligibility for each cleared tier resets weekly.
  • NESO and Power Crystal rewards from Millions are not affected by the Boost Raffle effect.
  • Power Crystal rewards are unexchangeable FT items. Using the item from the inventory grants Power Crystals, which can be used for enhancement.

8. Challenge! Mini-Game Season 1 - <Puzzle Master>

Kemdi has prepared a variety of puzzles for Maplers. Solve the puzzles to earn V Coins and EXP.

• Event Period
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – January 7, 2026 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • Minted characters that have completed [Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess

• How to Participate
  • Matchmaking Participation: Visit Kemdi in Henesys and apply for matchmaking between 15–45 minutes past each hour to enter the queue.
  • Party Participation: Form a party of up to 3 players between 15–45 minutes past each hour, and the party leader can apply for entry through Kemdi in Henesys.

• How to Play
  • Complete puzzles by placing scattered puzzle pieces into the correct positions on the frame at the center of the screen.
  • Complete all 3 puzzles within the time limit to receive rewards.

• Rewards
  • Rewards can be claimed from Kemdi in the exit map.

• Note
  • Rewards will not be granted if the player leaves mid-game, remains inactive for a certain period, or repeatedly inputs the same key.
  • Daily EXP and V Coin limits are shared across all mini-games and The Legends Return.
  • Daily EXP limit (playtime-based): 120 minutes
  • Daily V Coin limit: 100
  • All buffs are removed upon entering the mini-game.

9. Challenge! Mini-Game Season 1 – <Infinity Race>

Who will collect the most Coins? The race prepared by Kemdi begins—compete against other Maplers to earn V Coins and EXP.

• Event Period
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – January 7, 2026 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • Minted characters that have completed [Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess

• How to Participate
  • Visit Kemdi in Henesys and apply for matchmaking between 45 minutes past the hour and 15 minutes past the next hour to enter the queue.

• How to Play
  • When the game starts, Gold Coins, Silver Coins, and Stones appear on the track.
  • Jump or crouch to avoid Stones, and collect more Coins to earn a higher score.
  • Rankings are determined by higher total score
  • If there is a tie, rankings are determined by more Gold Coins collected, more Silver Coins collected, fewer collisions with Stones, and earlier time reaching the final score

• Rewards
  • Rewards can be claimed from Kemdi in the exit map.

• Notes
  • Rewards will not be granted if the player leaves mid-game, remains inactive for a certain period, or repeatedly inputs the same key.
  • Daily EXP and V Coin limits are shared across all mini-games and The Legends Return.
  • Daily EXP limit (playtime-based): 120 minutes
  • Daily V Coin limit: 100
  • All buffs are removed upon entering the mini-game.

10. Challenge! Mini-Game Season 1 – <Maple Soccer>

The whistle has blown! Lead your team to victory by scoring more goals and earn V Coins and EXP.

• Event Period
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – January 7, 2026 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • Minted characters that have completed [Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess

• How to Participate
  • Click the invitation that appears above your character’s head at 15 and 45 minutes past each hour to enter the queue.

• How to Play
  • Move toward the soccer ball using the arrow keys to control it.
  • Press Alt to dash quickly; colliding with an opponent while dashing will stun them for 2 seconds.
  • Use Ctrl and the arrow keys to kick the ball.
  • When the ball enters the opposing team’s goal, your team scores.
  • The final team score determines the match result.

• Rewards
  • Rewards can be claimed from Kemdi in the exit map.

• Note
  • Invitations may not be received in certain maps; please remain in towns or normal hunting zones.
  • Rewards will not be granted if a player scores 2 or more own goals.
  • Rewards will not be granted if the player leaves mid-game, remains inactive for a certain period, or repeatedly inputs the same key.
  • Daily EXP and V Coin limits are shared across all mini-games and The Legends Return.

11. Fight! The Legends Return!

Legends have descended upon Maple World. Choose your legend, battle against opponents, and rise to the top.

• Event Period
  • After maintenance on December 18, 2025 – 2026/01/28 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • Minted characters that have completed [Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess

• How to Participate
  • Visit Cynapse in Henesys to move to the Battle Lobby.
  • Register for the queue through Cynapse in the Battle Lobby.

• Rewards

1) Game Rewards

• Victory Condition: The team with the last surviving character in the Last Stage wins.
• If no team remains until the time limit, the result is determined by:
  • Team with more surviving characters
  • Higher total HP ratio of surviving characters
  • Higher total EXP of surviving characters

2) Cumulative Victory Reward

• Requirement: 50 cumulative wins
• Reward: Hologram Inferno Wolf Mount SBT

3) Ranking Rewards

• If rankings are tied, placement is determined by:
  • Number of wins
  • Fewer losses
  • Earlier ranking registration

4) The following rewards will be distributed as tradable NFTs:

• Hologram Laser Sword
• Hologram Hairpin
• Returned Legend Damage Skin

• Notes

Bug Fixes

• An issue where the client would intermittently close during gameplay has been improved. 

• Fixed an issue where the notification icon displayed as gray when a skill registered in the Skill Notifier completed its cooldown after changing maps. 

• Fixed an issue where NFT Collection Bind Expiration Notifications were displayed every time the Mapler logged in. 

• Fixed an issue where the Options → Laboratory → Display Silhouettes was not working correctly. 

• Fixed an issue where NFT Collection Score Increase Notifications were not displayed when overlapping with NFT Collection Bind Expiration Notifications. 

• Improved excessive lag that occurred when a large number of set items were registered in the NFT Collection. 

• Fixed an issue where On-chain Notifier markers in the bottom menu were incorrectly displayed on the Wallet Inventory tab. 

• Fixed an issue where Raffle Dashboard notification markers in the bottom menu were incorrectly displayed on the Reward Dashboard. 

• Fixed an issue where Growth Potion (60–99) obtained via the Growth Potion Selector could only be used 9 times. 

• Updated the map names Edelstein Park and Edelstein Strolling Path to Edelstein Park 1 and Edelstein Strolling Path 1, respectively. 

• Fixed an issue where the quest Puppet Caring for His Master 1 could not be completed by some Maplers. 

• Fixed an issue in Evan’s quest Who Should We Be Angry At? where some language text was not displayed. 

• Fixed an issue where the NPC name was not displayed correctly in Shade’s quest Patience’s Paw Stamp. 

• Corrected a typo in the skill description of Shade’s Spirit Incarnation. 

• Fixed an issue where some language text was not displayed correctly in Shade’s Harmonious Defense skill description. 

• Fixed an issue where some map names were not displayed in English in the Heliseum world map tooltip.
