Nickname Changes and Trading System

Nicknames previously tied to a character have been separated, allowing them to be minted as NFTs, owned independently, and freely traded with other players on the marketplace. Own, change, and trade rare and unique nicknames!

1) Changing a Nickname

• Minted characters can now change their nickname.
• A new nickname can be created, or a minted nickname stored in the Nickname Inventory can be selected.

2) Minting a Nickname

• Nickname minting is available through the nickname change process.
• When changing a nickname, select the option to mint the nickname currently in use.
• Minted nicknames will be moved to the Nickname Inventory. They can then be reused via nickname change or traded on the marketplace.

3) Nickname Trading

• Minted nicknames can be traded on the marketplace.
• Nicknames in the Nickname Inventory can be listed for sale, or nicknames listed by other players can be purchased.
• Purchased nicknames will appear in the Nickname Inventory after the transaction is completed. They can then be resold or applied to a character through nickname change.

4) Notes

• The Nickname Inventory can be accessed via the "Owned Names" button on the Character Select screen.
• Separate NESO fees apply for nickname minting and nickname changing.
  • Minting Fee: 6,000,000 NESO
  • Change Fee: 3,000,000 NESO
• Nickname minting is unavailable within 24 hours after character minting.
• If a nickname is changed within 7 days after character minting, the Change fee will be waived once. The nickname minting fee will still apply.
• If a non-minted nickname is replaced without minting, the existing nickname will be deleted.
• After changing a nickname, the character cannot change again for 30 days.

5) Name Redemption Campaign

• Nicknames created through the Make Special Name event during the 2nd Pioneer Test period and registered (burned) in the Name Redemption Campaign will be converted into minted nicknames, available in the Nickname Inventory.
• If a nickname obtained through the event is already in use by a character, it will also be converted into a minted nickname. No additional minting is required.
• Nicknames containing certain restricted words may not be eligible for minting.
• Nicknames that have not yet been redeemed can be minted through the following web service (Link)

Event

1. Spark Reignition

Spiegelmann has returned with an even fiercer flame. The newly ignited fire will make the adventure burn even brighter. Take on the challenges and claim a variety of rewards.

• The mission can be completed by clearing Mu Lung Dojo or defeating a boss and registering using the Pure Boss Essence in the Raffle.
• Spark Coins can be obtained upon completing each mission, and missions are progressed on an account basis.
• Spark missions reset every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC+0).
• Spark Coins obtained are shared across the account.
• Spark Coins can be exchanged for various items from Spiegelmann located in Henesys.
• The Spark Coin Shop will be available until March 29, 2026, 23:59 (UTC+0).

2. Ascendant Tier Raffle Season 2

The Ascendant Tier Raffle, which provides the highest rewards to those who challenge the most powerful enemies, will be extended.

3) How to Participate

• During the event, defeat the bosses listed below and use the [Pure Boss Essence] they drop to enter the Ascendant Tier Raffle.
• To ensure rewards are distributed to more Maplers, the total NESO reward pool for each tier is now split into an expanded 10 slots, creating more winning opportunities than before. The success rate for submitting a raffle entry is 100%.
• The number of raffle entries granted for each Pure Boss Essence is determined by your party size.

4) Reward Detail

The reward counts for Lotus (Hard), Damien (Hard), and Lucid (Hard) will be increased to 150%.

5) Event Note

• Once the weekly usage limit of the Pure Boss Essence is reached, entry to the Ascendant Tier Raffle is not available until the limit resets.
• The remaining reward NESO from the previous Ascendant Tier Raffle event will be carried over and added to the Season 2 event.

3. Path of So Gong

So Gong has prepared special training to support the Mapler’s growth. Follow the path of training to strengthen both the character and equipment.

3) How to Participate

• Begin by clicking the Event Notifier on the left side of your screen. From the event icon list that appears, select the Mu Lung event icon   to accept the “[Path of So Gong] For Limitless Growth” quest.
• Reach Floor 10 or higher in the “Mu Lung Dojo” by traveling there through the “Dimensional Mirror” located in each town.
• Once you have your Belt, head to a field suitable for your level. Then, return to the Event Notifier, select the Mu Lung event icon, and choose “[Path of So Gong] Claim Rewards & Info” to enter the Training Chamber.
• Inside the Training Chamber, you will passively earn EXP and Power Crystals over time. The amount you gain is based on your Belt grade and the level of the field you were in before entering.
• The grade of the Belt is determined by the highest floor cleared in the Mu Lung Dojo. The higher the Belt’s grade, the greater the EXP rewards will be.
  • Black and Gold grade Belts can carry over unused Training Chamber time to the next day, up to a maximum of 12 and 24 hours respectively. However, if the Belt grade decreases, the carried-over time will be adjusted according to the new grade.

4) Event Note

• Training Chamber time is shared among all characters on your account.
• When entering the Training Chamber, the available time is reset, granted, or accumulated depending on the Belt grade. Even if accumulated time is available, if the Belt grade is downgraded, the carried-over time will be adjusted upon entry according to the new grade.
• The “Mu Lung Dojo” record resets every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC+0).
• If you earn a higher Belt grade after you've already entered the Training Chamber for the day, your new, longer time limit will be applied after the next daily reset (00:00 UTC+0).

4. Pilot Irvin’s Air Wing

A special attendance event hosted by Pilot Irvin is underway. Join Pilot Irvin, who is recruiting new members for his air squadron, to check in and receive various rewards.

3) How to Participate

• The event can be started by clicking the Event Notifier on the left side of the screen.
• After the event begins, attendance can be completed by meeting the daily requirements—1 hour of accumulated playtime and defeating 1,000 level-range monsters on any minted character within the account—and then opening the attendance UI by selecting “[Air Wing] Pilot Irvin's Air Wing.”
• Various rewards are given for every 7 days of attendance.
• Previous attendance days can be checked by purchasing and using an Air Pass for 200,000 NESO.

4) Event Reward

• Air Wing Supply Coins can be exchanged for rewards through the NPC Pilot Irvin in Henesys.

5) Event Note

• Rewards from the Pilot Irvin's Air Wing event can be obtained once per account.
• Since a margin of error of about 1 minute may occur in accumulated playtime, please log in with a character eligible to participate in the event before 22:59 (UTC+0) to ensure attendance is counted.
• Accumulated playtime is counted only when logged in with a minted character.
• For the requirement of defeating 1,000 level‑range monsters, the kill count is not tracked on an account-wide basis. All 1,000 kills must be completed on a single character for attendance to be registered.
• If the session spans past midnight (UTC+0) without logging out, accumulated playtime may not be counted. Please open the [Pilot Irvin’s Air Wing] UI to confirm that playtime is being tracked properly.

5. [The Trade King of Nihal Desert] Lost Cargo Recovery

The trade goods have turned into monsters! Defeat them to help the merchants in distress and earn a large amount of NESO!

3) How to Participate

• The event can be started by clicking the Event Notifier on the left side of the screen and selecting the “The Trade King of Nihal Desert” quest.
• Hunt 300 monsters near your level out in the field to summon 1 Lost Cargo Chest.
• When a Lost Cargo Chest is summoned, you will instantly receive a small amount of EXP. Defeating the chest then rewards you with a large amount of NESO.

4) Event Note

• Event NESO cannot be obtained if there is no remaining Rotation NESO in the field layer where the character is currently located.
• Event monsters can be summoned up to 240 times per day per character.

6. [The Trade King of Nihal Desert] Road to Trade King

Explore the Nihal Desert and rise as the true Trade King! Greater deals and richer rewards await as trading continues.

3) How to Participate

• The event can be started by clicking the Event Notifier on the left side of the screen and selecting the “The Trade King of Nihal Desert” quest.
• Travel to Spiegelmann's Adventure Express through the “[The Trade King of Nihal Desert] Road to Trade King” quest from the Event Notifier.
• A Wagon and 50 Gold Coins are provided, and for 30 minutes, goods are bought and sold by traveling between various merchant NPCs scattered throughout the Nihal Desert Free Trade Zone.
• When the trading session ends, the earned Gold Coins are exchanged for Gift Coins, which can be used to purchase the desired rewards.

4) Gift Coin Exchangeable Rewards

• The in-game images of the reward items can be found in the separate event notice containing detailed information.

5) Registering for the Trade King Ranking

• Speak to Spiegelmann and select [Register ranking.]
• The record of “the highest number of Gold Coins earned in a single trade” can be registered in the ranking.
• The ranking can be viewed on the Trade King Rankings page. (Link)

6) Ranking Reward

• As of 00:00 (UTC+0) on March 12, when the event ends, Maplers that place within ranks 1 to 100 will receive the Sun Chair (NFT).

7) Event Note

• Gift Coins can also be used for [Upgrade Wagon] and [Hire Porters] options, in addition to purchasing rewards, to make trading more convenient.
• Trading can be participated in up to 10 times per day per account, and 50 Gold Coins are newly provided at the start of each session.
• Both Gold Coins and Gift Coins are character-bound currencies and can only be used during the event period.
• Only one ranking record per account can be held. If a higher score is achieved, the previous record can be updated by registering the ranking again.
• If the character registered in the ranking is unlinked, it will be removed from the Ranking. The ranking must be registered again using another character on the account.
• Ranking is updated daily at 00:00 (UTC+0).
• A separate notice will be issued after the event ends to announce the delivery schedule for ranking rewards.
• Ranking rewards will be delivered to the storage of the world in which the ranking was registered.

7. Peplock Holmes Detective Office

The self-proclaimed greatest detective in Maple World, Peplock Holmes, has arrived! Join him and solve a variety of cases together!

3) How to Participate

• The “[Peplock Holmes] Peplock Holmes Detective Office” quest can be started by speaking to the event NPC Peplock Holmes in the Henesys map or by clicking the Event Notifier on the left side of the screen.
• After completing the “[Peplock Holmes] Peplock Holmes Detective Office” quest, the “Clumsy Detective Badge” can be obtained at a certain probability by defeating level-range monsters in the field.
• When the “Clumsy Detective Badge” is used, Disguised Pepe appears, and defeating it grants Rotation Neso and EXP.
• When the “Clumsy Detective Badge” has been obtained 10 times, the episode story and missions for that day become available.
• Each episode unlocks by date based on the event start date, and any unopened episodes can be cleared consecutively up to the currently available episode. However, to begin the next episode, the “Clumsy Detective Badge” must be obtained 10 more times.
• Upon completing an episode, a quest that grants the corresponding reward becomes available.

• The “Clumsy Detective Badge” can be used up to 120 times per day.
• The “Clumsy Detective Badge” continues to drop and can be used even after clearing the episode missions.
• The rewards for Episode 5, Episode 10, and Overall Completion can be obtained once per account. When cleared again on another character, four 2x EXP Coupons (15-Minute) can be obtained.
• The Peplock Holmes Detective Office Chair Coupon and Peplock Holmes Mount Coupon can be exchanged for NFT items by speaking to the event NPC Peplock Holmes in the Henesys map.

8. NESO DROPS Event

• During the event period, additional NESO rewards can be obtained from certain fields via the Reward Dashboard.
• Even more Field NESO can be earned by participating in the Trade King of Nihal Desert and Peplock Holmes Detective Office events. Please refer to the respective event details for more information.
• Event NESO is not affected by the Boost System.

4) BOSS NESO EVENT!

• During the event period, the listed bosses will drop additional NESO rewards.
• Event NESO is not affected by the Boost System.

NESO Balancing

To provide a more meaningful and impactful reward experience, balancing adjustments have been made to NESO and certain event reward structures as outlined below.

The burden of extended play sessions will be gradually reduced, and ongoing changes will ensure that rewards scale more clearly with challenge difficulty.

1) Changes to the NESO Supply Structure per Cycle

• The amount of NESO supplied per field cycle has been adjusted.
  • A portion of NESO previously granted from [Temple of Time Training Chamber] has been reallocated to boss NESO rewards.

2) Adjustments to Boss NESO Supply per Cycle

• Regular boss NESO rewards and Drops NESO rewards have been increased as shown below.

• The NESO supply per cycle for the following Ascendant Tier Raffle event layers has been increased by 150%.

3) The [Temple of Time Training Chamber] event has been replaced by the [Path of So Gong] event. Obtainable EXP has been partially increased. Rewards previously granted as NESO have been adjusted for efficiency and will now be provided as Power Crystals. A feature to store AFK time has been added to higher tiers.

Boss Auto-Matching System

• A new auto-matching feature has been added to the Boss UI. Click the Auto-matching button at the top-right of the UI to use this feature.
• Up to 5 bosses can be selected when applying for matching. A party will be matched for one of the selected bosses.
• Once matching is completed, a party will be formed immediately with the matched members.
• After matching, an option will appear to automatically move to the boss entrance map. Click Accept to move immediately.
• Some actions will be restricted during boss auto-matching.

Dynamic Field System Improvements

1) The level brackets for Inferno Wolf's Den have been adjusted.

2) Inferno Wolf's maximum HP has been adjusted.

• Tier 1: 500 Million
• Tier 2: 1 Billion
• Tier 3: 5 Billion
• Tier 4: 1 Trillion
• Tier 5: 5 Trillion

3) EXP from Bounty Hunter Portals has been adjusted.

• Level 180 and above: EXP gained increased by 50%

Monster Park

Three Arcane areas have been added to Monster Park's advanced dungeons.

System Improvements and Additions

• The Reward Dashboard will now display a NEW indicator for newly added layers and items.
• Fixed an issue where the current minted supply of certain NFTs was displayed as "0". It will now display as "-".
• Added two secondary weapons exclusive to the Cygnus Knights job group.
  • Most job classes use two class-specific secondary weapons. However, the five jobs within Cygnus Knights share the same two secondary weapons. This caused a supply imbalance, as five times the supply was needed compared to other jobs, yet the same amount was being supplied.
  • To address this, two secondary weapons exclusive to Cygnus Knights have been added, and supply balance will be gradually improved. The specs, supply, and acquisition sources for the first batch of secondary weapons are the same as before.

• The entry prerequisite quest for Magnus (Easy) will be changed to match that of the Normal/Hard modes.
  • The prerequisite will be changed to the “Nova Troubles” quest.
  • The “[Easy Magnus] Magnus Simulator” quest will be removed.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Mihile's Hyper Passive skill name was displayed incorrectly.
• Fixed a typo in the skill description for Mihile's 4th Job Skill: Roiling Soul.
• Mitigated an intermittent issue where Maple Legion UI and other UIs responded with delay.
• Fixed an intermittent issue where information was displayed incorrectly on the Raffle Dashboard.
• Fixed an issue where the map movement feature did not work for certain maps in the Reward Dashboard.
• Fixed an issue where Reward Dashboard widget hotkeys were not displayed when the language was set to English.
• Fixed an issue where the total damage value was displayed incorrectly in the minimized Battle Analysis UI.
• Fixed an issue where in-game images appeared incorrectly in Ludibrium Deep Inside the Clocktower.
• Fixed an issue where certain area icons were displayed in black or white in Pantheon Interdimensional Portal, Veritas Promessa, and Kritias Kerkaporta.
• Fixed an issue where the shadow of consumable items in the quick slot appeared abnormally.

• Fixed an issue where the chat window size outside the screen in windowed mode was reset upon each login.
• Fixed an issue where the game screen position was reset after repositioning with Windows key “+” arrow keys in windowed mode, switching to another window, and returning.

• Fixed an issue where the recommended level was not displayed in the Rondo's Hat quest.

• Fixed an issue where NPC descriptions overlapped for Cassandra's Fan and Cassandra in 'Shinsoo International School : Second Floor Classroom'.
• Fixed an issue where Victor's hit image appeared abnormally.
• Fixed an issue where NPC dialogue and images did not match during dialogue scenes in Friends Story.
• Fixed an issue where unnatural dialogue appeared when interacting with the NPC Hersha in Ellinia.
• Fixed an issue where an incorrect character portrait was displayed during the Cygnus Knights’ Edelstein quest progression.
• Fixed an issue where text was obscured by the background during the Reverse City quest cutscenes in certain languages.
