In this update, a new boss arrives alongside New Ascendant Tiers to test your limits, and Special Skill Rings have been added to make your character even stronger.
We have also prepared a variety of new events, including a New Random Portal content to spice up field hunting and an event where you can Craft your own EXP Boosters.
New challenges and new opportunities for progression await—join us today!
[Table of Contents]

With the showdown to determine the cutest slime of them all concluded, the Guardian Angel Slime has returned, stronger than ever. Break through its newly enhanced patterns and challenge Chaos Guardian Angel Slime!
Entry Requirements
Level 245 or higher characters who have completed the quest "[Ramuramu] Who's REALLY the Cutest of Them All?” can challenge this boss.
Difficulty
Chaos — Entry Level 245 / Boss Level 250
The time limit for the boss battle is 30 minutes.
Pattern Changes
Teleport: The existing teleport and jump patterns have been merged; the boss will now teleport to a random character and perform landing attacks three consecutive times. Characters on the same platform may take massive damage.
Slam: When performing a slam attack, a wide shockwave is generated in that direction. Characters hit will be knocked back significantly and restricted from taking action for a certain period.
Guardian Ray: The laser's range and base number of shots have been increased. As the boss's HP decreases, the number of consecutive shots increases. Characters hit will take continuous damage and be restricted from taking action for a certain period.
Guardian Wave:
In the Guardian Angel Slime encounter, the Guardian Wave may randomly accelerate even if the slime count does not reach 20, increasing the wave's movement speed.
When a Metal Slime appears during the Guardian Wave, it will ignore the Crystal Droplet once as it passes through.
When a Puzzle Slime appears during the Guardian Wave, the wave can change its direction once while moving.
Major Rewards
Guardian Angel Ring
The weekly supply of the Guardian Angel Ring has been split and allocated from the previous supply of Normal Guardian Angel Slime.
The following Boss-related History will be added:
Defeat Chaos Cute Gatekeeper : Clear Guardian Angel Slime (Chaos) 1 time
Defeat Chaos Guardian Slime by yourself : Clear Guardian Angel Slime (Chaos) solo
New equipment, Special Skill Rings, which allow you to use a ring's unique skills upon equipping, will be added. Pair one active ring with one passive ring to discover your perfect combination!
A new equipment slot exclusively for Special Skill Rings, "S.RING", has been added.
The slot is positioned between the Hat and Ring slots, and can be used without any separate unlock conditions.
The required level for equipment of Special Skill Rings is Lv.110.
Only one Active and one Passive Special Skill Ring can be equipped.
If a Passive Special Skill Ring is equipped in the exclusive S.RING slot, up to one Active Special Skill Ring can be equipped in the regular ring slots.
If an Active Special Skill Ring is equipped in the exclusive S.RING slot, up to one Passive Special Skill Ring can be equipped in the regular ring slots.
Special Skill Rings can be obtained from the Grade 1 to 8 Special Skill Ring Boxes provided as Ascendant Tier Raffle rewards.
Special Skill Ring Boxes obtainable as rewards vary depending on the boss, and the types and probabilities of Special Skill Rings obtainable from each Special Skill Ring Box differ accordingly.

Special Skill Ring Enhancement
Special Skill Rings can level up through the Enhancement system, which is scheduled for a separate update.
Enhancing a ring requires two rings of the same type and level, along with a certain amount of NESO.
Upon a successful enhancement, NESO and one ring used as a material will be consumed, and you will obtain one ring of a level higher.
Upon a failed enhancement, NESO and the one used as material will be consumed, and one ring will be returned.
The NESO cost required for enhancement will vary depending on the type and level of the ring.
Upon the introduction of the Enhancement system, only enhancement up to Level 2 will be available, with plans to expand this limit in stages in future updates.

The energy of the empowered Guardian Angel Slime is beginning to flow throughout Maple World!
Defeat the enraged monsters to recover the scattered Slime's energy, and complete Chief Slime's special request.
Collect Slime Glow to craft potions you can trade, or consume it to receive a powerful EXP boost!
August 20, 2026 (After Maintenance) – September 16, 23:59 (UTC)
Minted characters of level 65 or above
Visit the event NPC Chief Slime in Henesys to accept and complete "[Slime Glow] Chief Slime's Request".
Upon completing "[Slime Glow] Chief Slime's Request", you will receive the "Slime Glow Collector" item.
The Slime Glow Collector is an item that allows you to collect or consume Slime Glow. Using the Slime Glow Collector at a hunting field displays a dedicated gauge UI on the screen, and you can freely switch between Collect and Consume modes via the tabs.
The daily monster kill limit (10,000 monsters) resets every day at 00:00 (UTC) per character and is shared between Collect and Consume modes.
Defeating monsters within your level range gives a low chance to obtain a "Slime Power Crystal Pouch" in the field.
Points obtained from the "Slime Power Crystal Pouch" can be exchanged for Power Crystals by talking to the event NPC Chief Slime in Henesys.
The value of Power Crystals granted per pouch varies depending on your character's level range.
For every 100 monsters defeated within your level range, 1 "Enraged Slime" will be summoned in the field.
Defeating an Enraged Slime grants a large amount of EXP.
Defeating this monster also drops an additional rotation NESO Pouch.
※ Up to 720 Enraged Slimes can be summoned and defeated per character daily, and the summon limit resets every day at 00:00 (UTC) per character.
[Slime Glow Collection & Potion Crafting Details]
While Collect Mode is active, 1 Slime Glow is collected for each monster defeated within your level range.
Once your collected Slime Glow reaches 5,000, the Craft button in the UI becomes active, allowing you to craft a "Slime Potion Coupon".
Slime Potion Coupons are delivered to your inventory as FT items immediately upon crafting and can be freely traded with other users through the Marketplace.
Using the coupon converts it into a Slime Potion, which can then be used.
※ Potion crafting is limited to a maximum of 3 times per account daily, and the crafting limit resets every day at 00:00 (UTC) per account.
※ Slime Potion Coupons can only be listed on the Marketplace by users of MVP Bronze rank or above, the minimum requirement for Marketplace listings.
※ You can possess up to a maximum of 1,000,000 Slime Glow, and any amount exceeding this limit cannot be acquired.
[Slime Glow Consumption & Booster Details]
“Consume Mode” allows you to consume collected Slime Glow to dramatically boost your hunting efficiency.
Each time you defeat a monster within your level range, Slime Glow is consumed according to the selected boosting stage's setting, granting Bonus EXP.
Bonus EXP is calculated additively with other existing EXP boost buff effects.
Freely select and activate one of the boosting stages below.
| Boosting Stage | Bonus EXP Rate | Slime Glow Consumed per Kill |
| Stage 1 (Default) | +40% | 0 |
| Stage 2 | +70% | 1 |
| Stage 3 | +120% | 3 |
| Stage 4 | +160% | 6 |
※ The boosting stage cannot be changed while “Consume Mode” is active. To change stages, pause (deactivate) “Consume Mode” first.

How to Participate in the Eternal Ascendant Raffle
Only one Eternal Ascendant raffle registration can be made per week: either Eternal Ascendant Hard Will or Eternal Ascendant Chaos Guardian.
When using a Pure Boss Essence, a separate confirmation window will appear, allowing you to decide whether to register for that Eternal Ascendant boss's raffle.
Once registered for one Eternal Ascendant raffle, you cannot make an additional registration for the other boss's Eternal Ascendant raffle, upon use of the other boss's Pure Boss Essence. However, you can still normally obtain all other rewards excluding that boss's Eternal Ascendant rewards.
(Example) If you register for the Eternal Ascendant Chaos Guardian raffle using Chaos Guardian Angel Slime's Pure Boss Essence and subsequently use Hard Will's Pure Boss Essence, you can obtain all other rewards except for participation in the Eternal Ascendant Hard Will raffle.
Changes to the Ascendant NESO Raffle System
To minimize the variance in the Ascendant rewards experience, the NESO and Power Crystals raffle draw system has been improved.
The winning reward amount has been adjusted to 1/100 of the previous amount, and 100 raffle registrations are now processed for each raffle entry.
Winning Reward Amount: Changed to 1/100 of the previous amount
NESO Raffle Registrations: Changed from 1 to 100 per entry

A New Bounty Hunter Portal, Especia, and its exclusive new content "Totem Slash" have been added.
After the existing Pollo & Fritto Portal appears 4 times, the 5th portal will spawn as the new Bounty Hunter Especia Portal.
Maplers can enter the Especia Portal to participate in the new "Totem Slash" content.
"Totem Slash" is single-stage content where you destroy totem monsters by stopping an attack marker that moves sideways along the skill gauge.
The stage is cleared once you defeat a total of 30 monsters, and EXP is calculated and distributed based on the number of monsters defeated.
Defeating all totems grants a high amount of EXP rewards.
Daily entry limits for Bounty Hunter Portals have been adjusted.
Pollo & Fritto Portal: 16 times per day
Especia Portal: 4 times per day
The daily entry limit resets every day at midnight (UTC).
Regardless of the remaining daily entry count, if the entry count for Pollo & Fritto Portals is completely exhausted, the Especia Portal will not appear. Conversely, if the entry count for Especia Portals is completely exhausted, Pollo & Fritto Portals will not appear.
New achievements related to Especia's "Totem Slash" have been added.
[Totem Slash] A Hard-Built Totem Collapses
[Totem Slash] A Beloved Totem Collapses
[Totem Slash] All Totems Collapse
[Totem Slash] Grand Golden Totem Slasher
The effects of field Runes have been revamped.
The charge speed of the Rune of Purification has been increased. The gauge increase per monster defeat has been increased, reducing the time required to charge.
The attack range and duration of the Rune of Contact have been increased.
Ascendant reward information has been merged with individual boss reward information, allowing them to be viewed together.
The corresponding Ascendant rewards will now also be displayed on the boss reward list.
A marker has been added to the boss list to indicate whether a boss is corresponds to an Ascendant Raffle.
The previous "Ascendant List" under "Other Content" has been removed. Once you use the Pure Boss Essence of a boss corresponding to an Ascendant Raffle, you can view the registered Ascendant Raffle information on the "Raffle Dashboard".
Item tooltips in the "Reward Dashboard" have been improved.
Raffle participation probability displays have been changed to be based on the number of participation.
Winning probabilities that are not finalized until the raffle begins will now display the final probability from the most recent raffle instead.
Item tooltips in the "Raffle Dashboard" have been improved.
Before a raffle begins, the expected quantity obtainable based on the winning probability will be displayed.
The actual number of wins and the total quantity obtained from the raffle results will now be displayed at the very top.
The distribution method for Power Crystals has been changed.
For greater convenience, Power Crystals previously provided as coupons are now acquired directly upon claiming, matching the NESO reward distribution.
A display showing the total weekly distribution of Power Crystals has been added.
Just as with NESO, the quantity won throughout the week is displayed as a combined total.
The total is not displayed if the combined amount is 0.
This total only applies to direct Power Crystals distributions; future coupon rewards will still be displayed as coupon quantities in the item area as before.

The incorrect display of the Legion Coin name in the "Maple Legion" UI has been corrected.
