Starting with Henesys, Maple World has been transformed with a spooky yet sweet Halloween atmosphere!

Along with the various Halloween events prepared by Hallowkitty and the trio of ghost monsters, you can also experience the newly updated Mu Lung Dojo featuring world-integrated rankings, as well as skill balance adjustments for six classes.

Mu Lung Dojo System Revamp

Starting after the maintenance on October 15, Mu Lung Dojo will be revamped with a newly integrated world ranking system!

A new rating system, "Badge", is introduced, allowing you to obtain titles with powerful stats and Training Chamber rewards based on your achieved Badge tier. Challenge the newly revamped Mu Lung Dojo and claim the ultimate Badge!

• Mu Lung Dojo rankings will be calculated on an integrated world basis.
• The weekly ranking reset time will be changed to every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC).
• Badges will be awarded based on the previous week's rankings, and rewards corresponding to each tier will be distributed.

[Major Updates]

• World-Integrated Ranking Calculation
  • The Mu Lung Dojo ranking, which was previously calculated separately for each world, will be changed to a world-integrated basis.
    • Mu Lung Dojo records prior to the world ranking integration update will not be reflected in the ranking calculations after the integration. Only records achieved after the October 14 Patch will be recognized; therefore, if you challenged before the update, please renew your record.
• Weekly Ranking Reset Time Change
  • The Mu Lung Dojo weekly ranking reset time has been changed.
    • Before: Every Monday at 00:00 (UTC)
    • After: Every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC)
  • Along with the reset time change, the weekly ranking calculation period has also been changed.
    • Before: Every Sunday 23:00 – Monday 00:30 (UTC)
    • After: Every Wednesday 23:00 – Thursday 00:30 (UTC)
• World-Integrated Ranking Title Distribution
  • World-integrated ranking titles, which are more powerful than the previous world-specific ranking titles, will be distributed.
    • Before: Awarded to 1st–3rd places in the class rankings of each world.
    • After: Awarded to 1st–10th places in the world-integrated class rankings.

• Applying the New Badge Tier System
  • Badges will be awarded based on your Mu Lung floor and class ranking percentage (%) at the time of the weekly ranking calculation.
    • A Badge tier is only awarded if both the minimum Mu Lung floor requirement and the class ranking percentage (%) requirement are met.

  • The number of players in each Badge tier is calculated based on the number of participants in each class ranking.
    • To guarantee at least 1 player per tier even when class participation is low, decimals are rounded up when calculating participant numbers.

      ※ This only applies if the minimum floor requirement for each tier is met.

    • (Example) If a total of 10 players participated in a specific class and 3 of them cleared Floor 50 or above, 1 Master Badge, 1 Platinum Badge, and 1 Gold Badge will be awarded according to their rankings.
• “Path of Badges” Event
  • The existing Path of So Gong event will be restructured into the Path of Badges event.
    • The EXP efficiency of AFK Training Time will be increased, allowing you to acquire more EXP than before (excluding Unranked tier).
    • Training Chamber Coupons used to charge AFK Training Time will be distributed based on your Badge tier.

  • The operation of the existing Path of So Gong event will be maintained temporarily.
    • Remaining Path of So Gong training time and Training Chamber Coupons accumulated before the revamp will remain valid for use until November 11, 23:59 (UTC).
      • Existing remaining Path of So Gong training time will be managed separately and will not be combined with the new Path of Badges training time.
    • The existing Path of So Gong can be accessed via the Path of Badges icon on the Event Notifier.
      • Please note that to enter Path of So Gong, you must renew your Mu Lung Dojo record weekly, identical to the previous criteria.

    ※ Training Chamber Coupons obtained through MVP after this restructure will be provided as coupons exclusive to Path of Badges.

• Unity Training Center Closure
  • Use of the Unity Training Center will be discontinued.
    • It will only be available for use until November 11, 23:59 (UTC), after which entry is no longer permitted.
    • The Unity Training Center Entrance Charm based on the world rankings calculated on October 12 can be claimed from NPC So Gong in Mu Lung Dojo until October 18, 23:59 (UTC).
    • Any unused Unity Training Center Entrance Charms in your possession at the time of entry closure will automatically expire based on their validity period.

[How to Use Mu Lung Dojo After the Restructure]

1. Challenging Mu Lung
   • Challenge Mu Lung Dojo to register in the world-integrated rankings, and a Badge tier will be awarded based on your finalized ranking position, ranking percentage (%), and minimum floor from the previous week.

     ※ Please note that for characters newly linked this week, their Mu Lung Dojo floor records for the corresponding week will not be reflected in the ranking calculations.

   • Badges are awarded individually to each character within your account, and can be viewed on the "Mu Lung Ranking" Leaderboard located in Henesys or the Mu Lung Dojo Hall.
      
2. Claiming Rewards
   • Training Chamber Coupon
     • Click the Path of Badges icon on the Event Notifier to accept the "Path of Badges: Who Will Own the Master Badge?" quest, and claim a set amount of Training Chamber Coupons based on your Badge tier.

       ※ The hourly EXP acquisition efficiency for the Iron to Master Badge tiers has been standardized at an increased, uniform rate, and the quantity of distributed coupons (usable time) has been adjusted accordingly. However, the Unranked tier has been applied with half the EXP efficiency compared to the other tiers.

     • Training Chamber Coupons can only be claimed once per week.

       ※ However, coupons cannot be claimed during the weekly ranking calculation from Wednesday 23:00 to Thursday 00:30 (UTC).

     • Training Chamber Coupon distribution history resets every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC), when Badge tiers are newly calculated.
     • Training Chamber Coupons are valid for 3 days from the date of acquisition and will automatically expire if not used within the period.

     
     ※ As an exception, the following Limited Reward Rules apply during the week of the update.

     • First Week-Limited Reward Rules (October 15 – October 21)
       • Since there are no ranking calculation records from the previous week in the first week, Training Chamber Coupons corresponding to your cleared floor will be distributed without the top % requirement.
         • However, even if you clear Floor 50 or above, rewards will only be distributed up to the Gold Badge level.
       • In the first week, if you renew your record with a higher minimum floor corresponding to a tier above your currently cleared tier, you can receive the difference in Training Chamber Coupons for that tier.
         • (Example) If you clear Floor 36 to claim the Bronze reward (14 coupons) and then renew your record to Floor 45 (Silver, 17 coupons), you can claim the difference of 3 additional coupons.
   • World-Integrated Ranking Title
     • To claim title rewards, both of the following conditions must be met based on the Thursday ranking calculation:
       • Obtain a Master Badge (Top 5% per class and Floor 50 or above)
       • Achieve 1st–10th place in the world-integrated class rankings
     • Title rewards can be claimed by speaking with NPC So Gong in Mu Lung Dojo.
       • The validity period of the title is from the time of acquisition until the next ranking calculation on the following Thursday at 00:00 (UTC).
          
3. Using the Training Chamber
   1. Use a Training Chamber Coupon from your inventory to charge your AFK Training Time.

      ※ The AFK Training Time is shared among all characters within your account, and can be accumulated up to 90 hours regardless of your Badge tier.

   2. While located in a hunting field suitable for your character's level, click the Path of Badges icon on the Event Notifier to enter the Training Chamber.
   3. In the Training Chamber, you can automatically acquire EXP and Power Crystals.

      ※ Please note that you cannot charge additional training time while inside the Training Chamber.

Class Skill Balance Adjustments

In this skill balance update, we adjusted classes that displayed relatively lower combat efficiency in boss battles, while also improving convenience features for certain classes.

We plan to continue implementing balance adjustments in the future so that all classes, including those adjusted today, preserve their unique charm and characteristics without any class being heavily disadvantaged.

The adjusted classes and the details of this update are as follows:

• Night Lord - Boosted the performance of skills used periodically to address the lack of sustained damage after the initial burst cycle.
  • Shurrikane
    • Cooldown is decreased from 25 seconds → 20 seconds.
    • Number of attacks is increased from 5 → 7.
  • Dark Lord's Omen
    • Star attack damage (at Lv. 25) is increased from 850% → 1,245%.
    • Number of throwing stars is increased from 5 → 6.
  • Sudden Raid
    • Damage (at Lv. 30) is increased from 494% → 660%.
    • Number of attacks is increased from 7 → 10.
    • Bleed damage (at Lv. 30) is increased from 214% per second → 420% per second.
• Pathfinder - Improved the animation of the primary skill to reduce movement inconveniences in actual combat.
  • Combo Assault
    • Action delay is decreased by 15%.
• Night Walker - Increased the damage of sustained-use skills and overall damage output to compensate for the difficulty in dealing consistent damage in combat.
  • Shadow Bite
    • Damage against boss monsters (at Lv. 25) is increased from 1,350% to 2,433%.
  • Dark Blessing
    • Fixed an issue where the final damage increase text was not displayed.
    • Final Damage (at Lv. 30) is increased from 8% → 12%.
• Dual Blade - Converted the conditionally triggered passive buff into permanently active stats to resolve the high performance variance based on conditions.
  • Shadow Meld
    • The passive buff that triggered upon successful evasion has been removed.
    • Weapon ATT +15 effect has been added.
    • Critical Damage +5% (at Lv. 20) effect has been added.
    • Final Damage (at Lv. 20) is increased from 6% → 8%.
• Arch Mage (Fire/Poison) - Improved overall skill animations and boosted the damage of core skills to increase combat damage output.
  • Elemental Fury
    • Cooldown is decreased from 75 seconds → 60 seconds.
  • Creeping Toxin
    • Action delay is decreased by 27%.
  • Mist Eruption
    • Action delay is decreased by 29%.
  • Flame Haze
    • Action delay is decreased by 44%.
  • Poison Mist
    • Action delay is decreased by 45%.
  • DoT Punisher
    • Action delay is decreased by 43%.
  • Poison Chain
    • Action delay is decreased by 15%.
  • Flame Sweep
    • Action delay is decreased by 15%.
  • Poison Nova
    • Action delay is decreased by 12%.
    • Explosion delay is decreased from 2 seconds → 1 second.
    • Explosion damage (at Lv. 25) is increased from 450% → 600%.
• Aran - Improved both the convenience of combo management and overall damage output.
  • Combo Ability
    • Combo count generated every 5 seconds is increased from 20 → 30.
  • Adrenaline Overload
    • Required number of hits to enter Adrenal Awakening is decreased from 15 → 10.
  • Final Beyond Blade - White Tiger
    • Damage (at Lv. 25) is increased from 785% → 912%.
  • High Mastery
    • Final Damage (at Lv. 30) is increased from 15% → 21%.

Special Skill Ring Polish Max Level Expansion

• The maximum level of the Special Skill Ring Polish system has been expanded from Level 2 to Level 3.

NFT Item Periodical Supply Adjustments

The periodical Recharge amount has been adjusted, to balance the supply and demand of Equipment and Outfit NFT items and establish a more stable item circulation environment.

• Adjustment Details
  • This adjustment applies to all rewards visible on the Reward Dashboard, except for the exclusions listed below.
    • Exclusions: NESO, Power Crystal, Florin, Nodestone, coupons, Special Skill Ring Chests, and items with unlimited periodical recharge.
  • Previously recharged and accumulated quantities will be maintained, and the adjusted periodical recharge amount will apply starting from the recharge distribution after the maintenance.
  • Please check the details for each item below.

[Field Rewards]

• The periodical recharge amount for all target items supplied through Field Rewards is decreased by approximately 50%.

[Boss Raffles]

• The periodical recharge amount for target items supplied through Boss Raffles is decreased by approximately 50%. The items with different rates of decrease are as follows:

※ Please note that the these coins (*) are registered in multiple reward slots within the same raffle, and each slot is adjusted individually.

[Content Raffles]

• The periodical recharge amount for all target items supplied through Content Raffles is decreased by approximately 50%.

[Exchange Shop Raffles]

• The periodical recharge amount for target items supplied through Exchange Shop Raffles is decreased by approximately 50%. The items with different rates of decrease are as follows:

3. Afterward, each time you defeat 600 Monsters Near Your Level, up to 100 Trick-or-Treat Wraith event monsters will be summoned for 1 minute. (Maximum 120 summons per day per character)
4. Defeat the summoned event monsters for a chance to obtain 3 types of Halloween Candies and the Oversized Halloween Candy Chair Coupon.
   • Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candy: Used as the growth currency for the Cat-O-Lantern Buff, and up to 50 candies can be obtained per day. After fully upgrading the buff, any additional candies obtained can be exchanged for Honor EXP at a set rate.
   • Trick or Treat Candy: Up to 50 Sharable candies can be obtained per day. Click on other players sitting in the Trick or Treat Chair to obtain a Shared candy and receive an EXP buff.
   • Crystal Candy: Awards a set amount of Power Crystal Points upon use, up to a maximum daily limit of 150,000 Power Crystal Points per account.
5. Defeating Monsters Near Your Level also grants a chance to obtain Halloween Pumpkin Coins, the Halloween event currency.

[Cat-O-Lantern Buff]

• Consume 5 Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies to increase a single stat level by 1.
• The Cat-O-Lantern Buff effects upgraded during the event period can be used even after the event concludes, until November 11 23:59 (UTC).
• For characters who did not acquire this item during the event period, the Cat-O-Lantern Buff (Lv. 0) can still be obtained by speaking with NPC Hallowkitty in the Haunted House from October 29 00:00 to November 11 23:59 (UTC).
• From October 29, you can purchase additional Pumpkin-Flavored Halloween Candies from the Halloween Coin Shop to upgrade your buff.

[Oversized Halloween Candy Chair]

• Defeating the Trick-or-Treat Wraith event monsters (summoned by defeating Monsters Near Your Level) grants a low chance to drop the Oversized Halloween Candy Chair Coupon.
• After obtaining the coupon, you can exchange it for the Oversized Halloween Candy Chair NFT item by speaking with NPC Hallowkitty in the Haunted House.

Ghoulbusters: Let's Collect Ghosts!

For this Halloween, a mischievous trio of ghost monsters has descended upon Maple World!

👉 How to Participate

1. Accept the quest "[Ghoulbusters] Let's Collect Ghosts!" through the Event Notifier on the left or the Hallowbat NPC in the event map.
2. Defeat a certain number of Monsters Near Your Level in the fields. Each ghost monster (Frankenbalrog, Pumpkin Zombie, and Halloween Pumpkin) will spawn once its specific defeat count is reached.

   ※ The defeat counters for each ghost monster calculate and accumulate independently of each other.

3. Defeating the summoned event monsters awards rotation Neso and a chance to obtain Crystal Candy.
4. Once you reach the accumulated daily defeat counts for each event monster type, the [Claim Gift] button for each type will activate in the event UI.
5. You can claim step-by-step rewards up to 3 times per day per character, with each consecutive step offering significantly larger rewards.

   ※ Even after claiming the daily [Claim Gift] rewards 3 times, event monsters will continue to spawn once their defeat count is reached until they reach their daily spawn limit.

   ※ Daily event monster accumulated defeat counts and reward claim progress reset every day at 00:00 (UTC) on a character basis.

• Characters that possess a Pumpkin Field Key

👉 How to Participate

[Entering the Pumpkin Farm]

1. Purchase a Pumpkin Field Key from the Halloween Coin Shop using Halloween Pumpkin Coins.
   • Limited to 1 purchase per account, daily.
   • The Pumpkin Field Key expires on November 11 at 23:59 (UTC), so please be sure to use it before expiration.
2. Speak with NPC Broomy in the Halloween event map and accept the “[Pumpkin Farm] Visit the Halloween Pumpkin Farm” quest.
3. After completing the quest, consume 1 Pumpkin Field Key to enter the Pumpkin Farm and hunt monsters.
   • If you possess multiple Pumpkin Field Keys, you may enter the Pumpkin Farm multiple times per day.
   • However, all Pumpkin Farm progress resets daily at 00:00 (UTC). After the reset, any previously accumulated progress will not be retained, and a new Pumpkin Field Key is required to enter the Pumpkin Farm again.

[Hunting Ripe Pumpkins]

1. Consume 1 Pumpkin Field Key to enter the Pumpkin Farm and hunt up to 500 event monsters, "Ripe Pumpkin," within 15 minutes.
   • All EXP-increasing effects, including EXP Coupons, Rune effects, EXP Atmospheric Effects, and Link Skills, apply within the Pumpkin Farm.
   • Ripe Pumpkin monsters spawn at the same level as your character upon entering the Pumpkin Farm.
2. If all 500 monsters are defeated before the time limit expires, you will be automatically moved out of the Pumpkin Farm regardless of the remaining time.
   • If both hunting time and remaining monster count are still available, you may re-enter the Pumpkin Farm and continue hunting without consuming an additional Pumpkin Field Key until the daily reset at 00:00 (UTC).

Participate in the "Spin or Treat" special roulette event to wager your Halloween Mystery Tickets earned from the Crimson Night Coin shop for a grand multiplier, or use them directly to claim the rare and coveted Spiegelmann's Black Rebirth Flame!

👉 How to Participate

1. Accept the "Spin or Treat: Win a Black Rebirth Flame!" quest from the Event Notifier to participate in the event.
2. Purchase “Halloween Mystery Tickets” from the Crimson Night Coin shop.
   • For more details about Crimson Night, please refer to the Crimson Night event notice.
3. You can use the purchased Halloween Mystery Tickets in either of the two ways below.
   1. Use Immediately: Each Halloween Mystery Ticket can be exchanged for 1 Spiegelmann's Black Rebirth Flame. You can also use multiple tickets at once.
   2. Spin the Roulette: Submit your tickets to the NPC in the event map and spin the roulette to multiply your tickets.
      • Choose a multiplier of 2x, 3x, or 5x. The higher the multiplier, the lower the chance of winning.
      • You can submit up to 10 tickets at a time, and there is no limit on the number of spins.
      • If you win, you will receive Halloween Mystery Tickets equal to the number of tickets submitted × the selected multiplier. If you lose, the submitted tickets will be consumed.
      • Winning the 5x roulette with 10 tickets submitted will be announced to all Maplers via a world notification.

• "Halloween Mystery Ticket" and "Pumpkin Field Key" have been added to the list of rewards exchangeable for Crimson Coins.
• The event details remain identical.
  • Accept the "Crimson Night" event through the Event Notifier to participate in the missions.
  • Complete the designated boss defeat missions and Mu Lung Dojo clear missions during the event period to immediately acquire Crimson Coins.

    ※ Mission clear records reset every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC), and the maximum weekly Crimson Coins you can acquire is limited to 5,000 per account.

NESO DROPS

Other In-Game System Changes

• A new “Effects” tab has been added to the “Options” menu, allowing you to adjust the transparency of skill effects and hit effects separately.
• The maximum criteria level for EXP acquisition and Monsters Near Your Level status when hunting monsters has been adjusted to level 250. Consequently, characters of level 250 or above will now have their EXP acquisition and Monsters Near Your Level status calculated based on level 250.

• An issue where Umushroom was unable to equip exclusive equipment during the “Spiegelette's Golden Giveaway” event has been resolved.
• The typo in Spiegelette's dialogue within the Dimensional Battleground has been corrected.
• The discrepancy where Combat Power was displayed differently in the character stat window and the party window has been resolved.
• The issue where multiple identical effects overlapped and appeared opaque even when transparency was increased has been fixed.
• An issue where the Final Damage stat was not displayed in the tooltip for the Night Walker's Dark Blessing skill has been fixed.
• An issue where the enemy silhouette effect was not applied when hitting enemies with the Night Lord's Throw Blasting skill has been resolved.
• An issue where atmospheric effect items could not be used in the world-integrated boss content, Dimensional Battleground, has been resolved.
