[Hyper Summer] Aqua Adventure

A perfect vacation is never complete without a premium feast!

For the Gold Richie Resort, which still has many areas to improve, team up with other Maplers to secure fresh ingredients from the cool sea nearby.

✅ Eligibility

All Minted Characters of level 65 or above, that have completed the “[Hyper Summer] An Invitation to VIP” quest.

※ This event is available on a character basis, excluding certain rewards.

👉 How to Participate

1. Accept the "[Hyper Summer] Aqua Adventure" quest in the Event Notifier.
2. After accepting the quest, talk to NPC Pason in the ‘Gold Richie Resort’ event map, and select "Join <Aqua Adventure>." in the dialogue to move to the world hub map to participate in the mini game.
3. Talk to NPC Pason in the hub map to queue for random matching, or participate in the minigame after forming a party with 1-3 members.

🎮 How to Play

Reach the target score to clear the game with up to 3 party members by swimming through a total of 5 depths of the ocean!

[Minigame Character Settings]

• Upon participating, all characters enter the game equipped with minigame-exclusive outfits, equipment, and skillsets.
• Your character starts at Level 1 and can grow up to Level 10 based on your cumulative play status in this minigame.
• As your character levels up, various stats will increase, and your weapon will also upgrade in both appearance and stats. Your character's growth status will be maintained until the end of the event period, allowing you to start in the same state in your next game.
• If you wish to change the default action bar key settings, click and hold the action bar icon at the bottom of the game screen, then press the desired key to swap it. Keys can be changed at any time during the game, though some keys may not be eligible for swapping.

[Ocean Zone Details]

• The game consists of a total of 5 ocean zones, and different monsters appear in each stage. Each monster does not leave its corresponding stage map.
• Excluding the 'Sunlight Zone', special monsters and boss monsters appear in each zone. You will encounter more powerful monsters as you descend deeper into the ocean.

[Oxygen Gauge System]

• The xygen Gauge' corresponds to your character's HP in this minigame.
• The Oxygen Gauge depletes faster as you descend into deeper ocean zones, and also decreases when taking damage from monsters
  • Depending on your character level, the depletion rate of the Oxygen Gauge even in the same zone may vary by character.
• If the Oxygen Gauge is fully depleted, you will lose a portion of the points harvested by your character so far and be automatically moved back to the base camp above water.

[Goal : Harvesting Points]

• Defeating monsters allows you to harvest points, and the obtainable points vary by monster.
• Dying while holding Harvested Points may cause a portion of those points to be lost, so please convert your harvested points to Accrued Points throughout the game.
• While holding Harvested Points, using the emergency escape skill on the action bar or moving directly to the base camp above water will automatically convert them into Accrued Points.
• Accrued Points are shared and accumulated across the party, and upon conversion, the Harvested Points held by your character will be reset to 0.
• The game can be cleared when the total Accrued Points reach 50,000. However, if the target points are not accumulated within 30 minutes, it will result in a failure and rewards cannot be obtained.

🎁 Rewards

The following rewards will be given to Maplers who have successfully completed their underwater hunt and helped prepare the perfect feast!

[Character-based Rewards]

• Talk to NPC Pason on the 'Gold Richie Resort' map after your 1st clear of the day to receive 3 Event EXP Vouchers  .
  • This daily reward will not be additionally distributed starting from your second clear on the same day.
  • Event EXP Vouchers obtained as this event reward must be used within 7 days of receipt. Since this reward may be lost when the date changes in UTC, please make sure to claim it on the same day you cleared the game.
• You will be rewarded 50 Gold Richie Coins after the minigame ends, for each clear.
  • However, this daily limit is shared with other events (Washed Up Guests, 2026 Maple Cup) up to a maximum of 400 event coins per day.

[Account-based Rewards]

• After achieving each character levels withe the minigame character, talk to NPC Pason in the ‘Gold Richie Resort’ event map and select “Receive Level Achievement Reward” in the dialogue to obtain an NFT coupon and exchange it to an NFT item through the same dialogue.

※ NFT coupons provided as account-bound rewards can be used to select 1 out of 3 options upon use, and each option can only be claimed once. This coupon can be exchanged until the event ends on July 1, 2026, 23:59 (UTC).

📋 Important Notes

• Any actions that violate the Operation Policy may result in restrictions. Accounts restricted from using services within the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, including MapleStory N, may also be excluded from receiving rewards.

• In case maintenance on MapleStory Universe services takes place on the day of the event conclusion, the event end time may be subject to change.

• Event schedule, rewards, and other details are subject to change without prior notice. In such cases, additional announcements will be provided separately.

• Reward items cannot be received after the event period ends.

• Reward items can be stored in in-game inventory until their expiration period. Items not used within the expiration period will be deleted.

• Rewards will be distributed only to the wallet used to participate in the event. Please note that the receiving wallet addresses cannot be changed.

• MapleStory Universe cannot address issues arising from incorrectly connected wallets.
