New Area & Contents

1. A new area, ‘Arcane River: Lachelein the Dreaming City’, has been added.

•  Characters who are Lv. 220 or above and have completed the Arcane River: Chu Chu Island quest can travel to Lachelein through the path blocked by Muto at Muto's Descent.
•  After completing all main quests in Lachelein the Dreaming City, Maplers can obtain Arcane Symbol: Lachelein by hunting in the Lachelein region.
•  Collect Dream Fragments in the Lachelein region to glimpse into the subconscious of Commander Lucid.

2. The new content, ‘Dream Defender’, has been added.

•  Protect Sleepytime Music Boxes and destroy Nightmare Music Boxes to stop Lucid's nightmares! 
•  Speak with Mr. Flopsy the Dreamweaver at <Lachelein Main Street> to enter the <Dream Defender> content.  

1) Entry Requirements

* Complete the ‘[Lachelein] Decisive Battle’ quest.

3) Gameplay

•  Upon entering <Dream Defender>, there are 5 rooms. 
•  If there are more Sleepytime Music Boxes in the 5 rooms, the yellow gauge fills up.
•  If there are more Nightmare Music Boxes, the purple gauge fills up. 
•  Fill the yellow gauge within 3 minutes to clear the stage and proceed to the next stage. 
•  Earn Dream Points needed to activate useful strategic skills upon clearing each stage. 
  • Dream Points increase by 10 every 10 stages and can accumulate up to a maximum of 3,000 points. 
• Dream Coins are awarded based on the final stage reached upon exit. 
  • Dream Coins can be exchanged for Arcane Symbol: Lachelein through Mr. Flopsy the Dreamweaver. 
  • The exchange rate is 30 Dream Coins → 1 Arcane Symbol: Lachelein.  

4) Medals

•  Earn Medals from Mr. Flopsy the Dreamweaver based on the final stage reached.
•  Collect increasingly powerful Medals by clearing stages. 

3. [Hungry Muto] has been added to the Arcane River Express Pass.

The party content <Hungry Muto> from Chu Chu Island is now registered in the Arcane River Express Pass.

• The Pudgy World Collab event has been extended in recognition of the enthusiastic support from Maplers. Various events and enjoyable moments with the adorable Pudgys in Pudgy World will continue to be available throughout the extended period.

10. Lucid Minion Hunt Mission

With the appearance of Lucid, her underlings have begun to emerge throughout Maple World. Defeat the monsters using the Protective Mask, obtain tickets, and take on the special Spinner!

2) Eligibility

•  Characters who have completed the ‘[Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess’ quest

3) How to Participate

•  Speaking with the NPC ‘Protective Mask’ in Henesys or accept the ‘[Vlessing Winter] Lucid Minion Hunt’ quest from the Event Notifier on the left side of your screen.
•  After the event begins, the Spinner can be attempted through the Nightmare-Spinner NPC.

4) Event Details

•  After defeating 600 monsters near your level in the map, the Nightmare Mushrooms will appear shortly afterward.
•  One Nightmare Ticket can be obtained each time the Nightmare Mushroom appears.
•  Nightmare Tickets can be obtained by speaking to the event NPC in Henesys or through the Event Notifier, and up to 10 can be obtained per day. Upon obtaining the 10th ticket, 50 V Coins will also be awarded.

•  One Nightmare Ticket is consumed for each attempt.
•  Pudgy Jelly can be obtained according to the rates below.

5) Event Note

•  You can summon the event monsters up to 120 times per day.

11. Mystic Merchant of the Dreaming City

The mysterious merchant Dream Slime from Lachelein the Dreaming City has arrived in Maple World! Mysterious items crafted in the Dreaming City can be purchased to obtain V Coins and Pudgy Jelly.

12. Temple of Time Training Chamber

Adjustments have been made to the Temple of Time Training Chamber to allow stronger Maplers to increase the intensity of their training. Set higher records in Mu Lung Dojo and raise the training intensity to earn additional EXP bonuses!

13. Challenge! Mini-Game Season 3 - Squeaky Showdown

Boing! Boing! Squeaky Showdown Battle has begun. Defeat the opposing team to earn V Coins and EXP.

1) Event Schedule

2) Eligibility

•  Minted character that completed the ‘[Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess’ Quest

3) How to Play

•  Click the invitation that appears above your character's head at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour to join the queue.

4) How to Play

•  Teams will be matched for “5 vs 5” to “10 vs 10” battles.
•  Use the arrow keys to move, the jump key to jump, and the Ctrl key to attack opponents.
•  You can earn points by defeating opponents or by destroying the Golden Gravel that spawns in the center of the map.
•  The team that accumulates more points within the 3-minute time limit wins the game.

5) Rewards

•  Based on the game results and your individual score, you can receive rewards from NPC Kemdi in the exit map.

6) Event Note

•  You cannot receive rewards if you leave during the mini-game or are inactive for a certain period.
•  Invitations cannot be received in some maps, so please be in a town or a general hunting ground.
•  The daily acquisition limit for EXP and V Coins is shared across all mini-games.
  •  The daily EXP acquisition limit is based on a total playtime of 120 minutes.
  •  You can acquire a maximum of 100 V Coins daily.

14. Challenge! Mini-Game Season 3 - Tangyoon Restaurant

Thanks to the enthusiastic support of customers, Tangyoon has reopened the restaurant. Prepare delicious dishes to serve the guests and earn V Coins and EXP.

3) How to Participate

•  Quick Start: Between every XX:15 and XX:45 (UTC+0) of the hour, register for the queue by visiting Kemdi in Henesys and requesting a match.
•  Party Start: Between every XX:15 and XX:45 of the hour, form a party of up to three players and have the party leader apply for entry by speaking to Kemdi in Henesys.

4) How to Play

•  The game will begin once 1 to 3 players gather according to the matching method.
•  At each cooking station corresponding to the order number, ingredients and tools can be placed in the recipe’s sequence to complete the dish.
•  Deliver completed dishes to the customers matching the order numbers to earn points.
•  Complete all deliveries within 15 minutes and reach 50,000 points to win.

5) Rewards

•  You can receive rewards from NPC Kemdi in the exit map.

6) Event Note

•  Rewards cannot be obtained if exiting the mini-game midway.
•  The daily acquisition limits for EXP and V Coin rewards are shared across all mini-games and The Legends Return.

15. Challenge! Mini-Game Season 3 - One Card

The fun One Card showdown has returned. Use your cards strategically to achieve the best results!

•  Minted character that completed the ‘[Vlessing Winter] Call of the Goddess’ Quest

3) How to Participate

•  Between every XX:45 and the next hour’s XX:15, register for the queue by visiting Kemdi in Henesys and requesting a match.

4) How to Play

•  The game is played with four Maplers.
•  At the start of the game, each player receives 7 cards.
•  Maplers may play a card that matches the color or number of the card placed in the center.
•  The Mapler who empties their hand first wins.

5) Rewards

•  You can receive rewards from NPC Kemdi in the exit map.

6) Event Note

•  Rewards cannot be obtained if exiting the mini-game midway, remaining inactive for a certain period, or repeatedly pressing the same key.
•  The daily acquisition limits for EXP and V Coin rewards are shared across all mini-games and The Legends Return.
  •  Daily EXP Acquisition Limit (Playtime): 120 minutes

16. Ascendant Tier Raffle Event

With the conclusion of the Millions event, the Ascendant Tier Raffle begins, awarding the highest-tier rewards to those who take on the most dangerous foes.

•  During the event, defeat the bosses listed below and use the Pure Boss Essence they drop to enter the Ascendant Tier Raffle.

•  To ensure rewards are distributed to more Maplers, the total NESO reward pool for each tier is now split into an expanded 10 slots, creating more winning opportunities than before. The success rate for submitting a raffle entry is 100%.
•  The number of raffle entries granted for each Pure Boss Essence is determined by your party size.

4) Event Note

•  If Pure Boss Essence is used after reaching the usage limit, it is also not eligible for entry into the Ascendant Tier Raffle.

17. NESO DROPS Event

The NESO DROPS event has begun.

2. Magnus and Papulatus boss patterns have been improved.

1) Magnus

•  Adjusted the attack range when casting the Slow debuff.
•  Adjusted the attack range when casting the Undead debuff.
•  Modified the penalty applied when outside the zone.
  •  Improved the behavior so that recovery is no longer reduced on Easy difficulty.
  •  Adjusted the recovery reduction on Normal difficulty from 90% to 20%.
  •  Adjusted the recovery reduction on Hard difficulty from 90% to 40%.
  •  Adjusted the interval of periodic damage on Hard difficulty from 1 second to 2 second.
•  Modified meteorite damage.
  •  Reduced the damage of Blue Meteorites on Normal difficulty from 100% Max HP to 60% Max HP.
  •  Reduced the damage of Purple Meteorites on Normal difficulty from 100% Max HP to 80% Max HP.
  •  Reduced the damage of Blue Meteorites on Hard difficulty from 100% Max HP to 80% Max HP.
•  Modified the number of meteorites spawned.
  •  Reduced the number of meteorites spawned in Phase 4 on Normal difficulty.

•  Adjusted Clock Bomb damage in Chaos Mode from 100% Max HP to 70% Max HP.
•  Added a 5 sec consumable item cooldown in Chaos Mode.
•  Reduced the hitbox of the Gear Claw by approximately 13%.
•  Changed the positions of certain Gear Claws.
•  Modified Time Turbulence so that explosion damage and teleportation are applied if the designated amount of damage is not dealt within a certain time.
•  Removed the forced teleport pattern that was triggered after using Time Turbulence at least once.

System Improvements and Additions

1. Boss UI Revamp

•  The dedicated Boss UI has been revamped. Parties can be searched for or recruited based on the desired boss.

2. Party Auto Create/Disband Feature Added

•  A party creation option has been added when entering party-only content.

•  Equipment Presets allow pre-configured equipment sets to be applied easily, and Character Presets allow multiple preset settings to be changed at once.

4. Adjusted Charge Amount per NESO Reward Interval

•  With the addition of new fields, bosses, and events, the charge amount per interval for ***NESO*** rewards has been adjusted as follows for existing fields and bosses.

•  The charge amount per interval for NESO rewards in all fields has been decreased by 10% compared to the previous amount.

2) BOSS

•  The NESO reward recharge amount per cycle for the bosses listed below will increase as follows.

•  Fixed an issue where Lie Detector could be triggered in certain maps.
•  The price cap for certain items with high enhancement price fluctuation will be partially adjusted.
•  Added dialogue that allows checking whether the conversing character has met the Unlink Condition in the guidance quest, [Prove your worth beyond the Mega Burning Project!]
•  Increased EXP for certain quests prior to Lv. 30 so that reaching Lv. 30 is possible through quest progression.
•  Modified the penguin effect position so that it is no longer obscured by the name and medals when jumping while equipping the [Catch-a-Pengu Pole] item.
•  Fixed an issue so that mount items can be used in Temple of Time Training Chamber.
•  The newly added equipment will be added to the Collection.
•  The party system terminology in the Japanese version will be revised to sound more natural.
•  The buttons for enabling and disabling daily quest notifications will be translated.
•  Fixed unnatural expressions in various languages within quests in the Arcane River.
•  Fixed unnatural expressions in various languages within content in the Arcane River.
•  Fixed unnatural expressions in various languages within quests in the Ramuramu.
•  Fixed unnatural expressions in various languages when using Pure Boss Essence.

Bug Fixes

•  Fixed an issue where the local item T-Boy’s Monitor, which was granted abnormally when skipping certain Reverse City quests, was removed in bulk from the Inventory.
•  Modified Howling Gale so that the recharge cooldown is displayed in the Quick Slot.
•  Fixed an issue where a boss with a teleport skill would still teleport when bound immediately before teleporting.
•  Fixed an issue where Empress's Blessing was not displayed properly for Adventurer and Hero classes.
•  Updated the description for True Sight – Enhance.
•  Fixed an issue where the recommended hunting grounds in the Maple Guide were displayed incorrectly.
•  Fixed an issue where the description was not displayed properly when using a Legion Growth Potion.
•  Fixed an issue where certain cutscenes were displayed incorrectly in Black Heaven and FRIENDSTORY.
•  Fixed an issue where the Maple Achievement [Area Exploration] entry related to defeating Balog in Sleepywood could not be completed.
•  Fixed typos that were displayed in certain content.
•  The experience obtained from defeating Zakum (Normal, Chaos) and Horntail (Easy, Normal, Chaos) has been adjusted. The final clear reward experience has been increased to account for the experience that was previously obtainable from certain monsters, such as Zakum’s arms. The experience is granted as a fixed amount, and effects such as experience buffs do not apply.
•  Fixed an issue where a Legion Coin refund message was displayed incorrectly when a character assigned to a Maple Legion preset had its Legion rank increased, resulting in the block boost being removed, and was then linked from another account.
•  Fixed an issue where the sound that plays when closing the character information window overlapped with the sound that plays when opening it.
•  Fixed an issue where characters below level 105 were able to move to the Monster Park entrance map through the Monster Park Shuttle NPC.
•  Fixed an issue where skills could be used in ‘Black Heaven Inside: Ventilation.’
•  Fixed an issue where, when obtaining NFT items through the Exchange, progress was incorrectly applied to ‘First Minted Item,’ ‘Introduction to Item Minting,’ ‘Master of Item Minting,’ and ‘Legend of Item Minting’ instead of the intended missions: ‘Trading Beginner,’ ‘Trading Pro,’ and ‘Trading Legend.’
•  Fixed an issue where the bottom area of the Henesys map appeared distorted depending on the resolution settings.
•  Fixed an issue where certain monster patterns would occasionally not be interrupted when hit by skills that disable actions while the monster was using Teleport.
•  Fixed an issue where the character most recently used would intermittently not be highlighted on the character selection screen.
•  Fixed an issue where the Rune of Contact would follow the character back to town upon death.
• Fixed an issue where line break characters were displayed in NPC speech bubbles in Thai.
