Event

1. Step Into What’s Next!

Winter is coming to Maple World! Complete daily missions to check your attendance and use the rewards you earn to prepare for the upcoming winter update.

• Eligibility
  • All Minted Characters

• How to Participate
  • Click the Event Notifier on the left side of the screen and start the Step Into What’s Next! quest through the Attendance Board icon.
  • Defeat 500 monsters near your level each day to complete your attendance check.
  • After completing the daily requirement claim rewards based on your accumulated attendance days.
  • Once all attendance checks are completed in the attendance book, the [Step Into What’s Next! - Bonus] quest can be started from the following day.
  • For the [Step Into What’s Next! - Bonus], defeat an additional 500 monsters near your level to earn two [1.5x EXP Coupons (15 min)].

• Important Notice
  • The 'V Coin' rewards can be used during the upcoming winter update. Please check future announcements for detailed information about winter event coins.
  • Remaining time resets daily at 00:00 UTC+0.
  • The Bonus quest must be accepted separately from the Event Notifier, and rewards must be claimed through dialogue after completing the quest.
  • The requirement to defeat 500 monsters near your level is not account-wide. A single character must defeat all 500 for the day’s attendance to count.
  • Attendance rewards not claimed before the event ends will no longer be available.

2. Umushroom’s Lucky Choice

Space travelers, Umushroom, have arrived in Maple World. Join them in Lucky Choice and aim for incredible fortune!

• Eligibility
  • All Minted Characters
    ※ Lucky Choice is available only for characters Lv. 140 or higher.

• How to Participate
  • Defeat 600 monsters near your level to summon Luckyholic Umushrooms.
    • Defeating Luckyholic Umushrooms grants increased Rotation NESO based on your current field layer.
    • Lucky Choice Tickets may drop from Luckyholic Umushrooms based on a set probability, up to 30 per day.
  • Enter the Lucky Choice for a chance to win rewards.
    • One entry requires 3 Lucky Choice Tickets.

• Lucky Choice Entry
  • Method
    • Up to 7 digits can be entered as the [Entry Number].
    • At the end of each round, winners are selected starting from the smallest number that only one participant has chosen.
      • Number aggregation and winner selection will be carried out across all worlds as a unified process.
  • Type
    • Lucky Choice is available in two types: Lucky Choice Gold and Lucky Choice Platinum. Choose the type you wish to participate in.
      • Participation limits apply per round and are counted per world.
      • You may participate in only one world at a time.

• Reward
  • Rewards will be granted based on the number of wins after the round ends.
    • Rewards can be claimed after verifying the winning record in the world where the entry was submitted.
    • The character to receive the reward can be selected from among the characters within the account.

[Lucky Choice Gold]

• Winners in Gold rounds will receive different material rewards depending on the day of the week.

[Lucky Choice Platinum]

• Winning a Platinum round grants either Umushroom’s Lucky Reward or Umushroom’s Ultra Lucky Reward.
  • Opening the reward grants Umushroom Coupon (100-Day) and Power Crystal Coupon.
  • Power Crystal appear in the ENHANCEMENT menu and can be used for Star Force and Potential enhancement.

• Lucky Choice Mission
  • Submitting at least one entry to Lucky Choice each day provides a chance to receive a gift from Umushroom.
    • Rewards can only be claimed on the date the mission is completed. (Resets daily at 00:00 (UTC+0).)
    • Rewards can be claimed by any character within the account.
  • Reward

• Important Notice
  • The daily acquisition limit for Lucky Choice Tickets resets daily at 00:00 (UTC+0).
  • Acquired Lucky Choice Tickets can be checked through the event menu or from the event NPC Umushroom located in Henesys.
  • Winning rewards and mission rewards can be claimed through the event menu or from the event NPC Umushroom located in Henesys.
  • Depending on round participation, the number of winning entries may be lower than the maximum.

3. Spark Event Season 2

New missions have been prepared for event participants in Mu Lung. Clear the missions to obtain enhancement items and reignite the flames on your equipment once more.

• Eligibility
  • All Minted Characters

• How to Participate
  • Clear Missions to earn Spark Coins.
    • Spark Coins earned are shared across your account.
    • Spark Coins obtained in Season 1 can still be used in Season 2.
  • Each mission can be completed once per account per week, and Spark Missions reset every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC+0).
  • Acquired Spark Coins can be exchanged for items usable for enhancement from Spiegelmann, located in Henesys.

• A Mu Lung Dojo mission has been added.

• Boss missions are provided as before.

[Spark Coin Shop Sales List]

• Purchase limits for certain products have increased in line with the point increase.
• Weekly purchase limits apply per account.
• Purchase limits reset every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC+0)

• Important Notice
  • To clear the mission, you must deal at least 5% of the total damage to the boss in a party of 2 or more.
  • For Mu Lung Dojo missions, the clear will only count after you fully enter the next floor.
  • When enhancement is performed using items purchased from the Coin Shop, they cannot be moved to the Wallet Inventory for 16 days.

4. Spiegelmann’s Boss Millions Event Season 3

Spiegelmann's Boss Millions, where you can defeat powerful boss monsters and earn a fortune, has been extended to Season 3.

  • November 20, 2025 After Maintenance ~ December 17, 2025 23:59 (UTC+0)

• Eligibility
  • All Minted Characters (participation available per character)

• How to Participate
  • Weekly bosses are categorized into Mini, Standard, Prime, Power, and Super Power based on difficulty.

※ Clearing a weekly boss at least once grants eligibility to enter the Boss Millions for the tier of the defeated boss.
※ The Boss Millions must be registered manually through the Event Notifier. Only one Raffle Tier can be selected for entry.
※ To clear the mission, you must deal at least 5% of the total damage to the boss in a party of 2 or more.

• Reward

• Important Notice
  • Only one Raffle Tier can be selected from Mini, Standard, Prime, Power, or Super Power for entry.
  • Changes to the selection cannot be made after entry. Check the competition rate on the Reward Dashboard and aim for a more favorable chance!
  • Eligibility for entry based on the cleared tier resets every week.
  • The Boost Raffle does not apply to NESO rewards from Boss Millions.

5. Honor EXP Pop Up Event

Defeat bosses and elevate your fame to a new level.

• How to Participate
  • When you clear daily bosses during the event period, you can earn double Honor EXP.

6. NESO DROPS

  • All Characters

• FIELD NESO EVENT!
  • During the event period, additional NESO rewards can be obtained from certain fields via the Reward Dashboard.
    • Field NESO can also be obtained through the Umushroom's Lucky Choice event and the Attack of the Food! event. Please refer to those event details for more information.
  • Event NESO is not affected by the Boost System.

• BOSS NESO EVENT!
  • During the event period, the listed bosses will drop additional NESO rewards.
  • Event NESO is not affected by the Boost System.

7. Attack of the Food!

The dishes that Tangyoon carefully prepared have escaped and are covering Maple World in grease. Help Tangyoon by defeating monsters and obtain various rewards.

• Eligibility
  • Characters that completed minting

• How to Participate
  • Event monsters will appear each time the specified number of monsters near your level are defeated. 
  • When defeating the specified number of event monsters, rewards can be obtained through the <Attack of the Food Operation: Food Cleanup> quest from the Event Notifier.
  • Event rewards can be obtained daily based on the following probabilities

• Monsters near your level required for spawn: 600 
• Event monsters required for reward: 2 
• Daily reward limit: 3 times

System Improvement

1. Dynamic Pricing Daily Maximum Price Increase Cap Applied

• A daily maximum price increase cap has been applied to enhancement costs subject to dynamic pricing. 
• During the initial phase, prices can increase by a maximum of 100% per day, and this cap will be adjusted progressively according to enhancement patterns thereafter.

2. Dynamic Pricing Web Price Chart Corrected

• Due to a price delay issue that occurred on September 19th (UTC+0), abnormal prices were formed, and even after service normalization, these values were reflected in the web price chart and made it difficult to identify accurate price trends on the scale. 
• Abnormal price information in the web graph for the period has been deleted to allow the visualization of normal price flows.

3. Additional Unlink Waiting Time Added for Character Minting

• When minting a character, unlinking that character will now only be possible after a minimum of 24 hours.

4. <Lie Detector mini-game : Finding Transparent Figures> Types Expanded

• The types of <Lie Detector mini-game : Finding Transparent Figures> in the macro detection system have been expanded and will be applied separately for each stage.

5. DirectX 11 Version Applied

• Direct X spec for MapleStory gameplay has been changed from [DirectX 9.0 or higher] to [DirectX 11.0]
  • Following the Direct X spec modification, Graphic Card spec is modified accordingly.
• DirectX 11 version is now applied to the game.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where history mission would not complete even after clearing floor 30 of Mu Lung Dojo
• Fixed an issue where some classes could not properly use the Decent Mystic Door skill
• Fixed typos in the Boss Millions Season 2 name on Reward Dashboard
• Fixed some language typos in Heroes of Maple medal quests
• Fixed some Thai text display errors in Ellin Forest quests
